I actually think Halo sucks.
But this doesn't. Totally rocks!

Very creative use of western samples in a hiphop beat

cool retro style mixed with dubstep.
Thanks!!!
Very Rhythm Game-like
I have to admit it is impressive that you made this at age 17.
Though, I do still notice that it has some amateur-ish qualities considering that you had far less experience back then. Like the glaring lack of having enough reverb (especially for an orchestral track), not having enough distortion on the guitar, having pretty cliche melodic and rhythmic ideas, and lastly not being mastered well or at all.
But still, it's something. Keep up the quality of your current works, man.
For a track titled 'speed cave', the main melody and counter-melody could be far more energetic. Especially for a Chiptune track where good music theory needs compensate for the lack of particularly complex sound design.
Though there are some cool FX sprinkled around the track that are quite nice.
Nice synth work here overall. And I like the transition at 2:07.
Needs a better bassline, though. Would have enjoyed a more standard Psytrance bassline.
And the low-end in general needs more work.
Nice progressive tune with varied instruments gives a nice visual impression of traversing a strange unknown planet from an alternate universe.
Thank you so much for the review. It's always nice to hear how people describe my music. Day = made :)
